Growth Spurt ...and Making Daddy Smile!

Monday, July 28, 2008

Yesterday Mommy thinks I was doing a lot of growing 'cause I made her tummy super itchy and she said something about the sides of her uterus feeling crampy ... is that what this little room I'm in is called? That's a funny thing to call my little home!

Also with that growth spurt came a very nice surprise for Mommy and Daddy ...but Daddy especially. I wanted to show him how good I'm getting with my somersaults ...so when they went to bed, I started practicing. Mommy said her tummy felt very heavy and tight, and she felt me rolling! So she laid on her back and pressed her hand low on her tummy. So I head-butted her! ...then I did a kick! She felt it on her hand and quickly told Daddy.

He rolled over and pressed his hand on Mommy's tummy. She was very excited and trying to explain to him about her pulse (that must be the constant whoosh whoosh noise I hear), but Daddy shushed her (which she thought was funny). That's when I did the bestest somersault of all!! And I made Daddy smile!!! He said it felt like I was rolling across his hand! Yay me!!

I told ya I'd perfect my finale!

Where's my cereal, Mommy?! ...Instead I get waffles and strawberries for breakfast! I don't think so!

To show my protest at this new choice of breakfast, I made Mommy's tummy all upset. She felt very nauseous and kind of dizzy and had to go lay down for a little bit. She tried this whole "different breakfast" thing a couple weeks ago when she ate a bagel with cream cheese. I didn't like that either, so I made her feel sick. You think she would have learned then that I must have my cereal and milk!!

Well, I don't think she'll be making that mistake again. She really doesn't like feeling so yucky!

Itchy, Itchy!!

Over the past couple weeks, I've been making Mommy's tummy very itchy! I can't help it! I'm growing fast now! I even gave her some stretch marks (which she wasn't too happy about, but she puts this cold lotion on her tummy to help with the marks and itchiness!).

Right now, I'm a little over four inches long, but I'll be adding some more weight to me in the next few weeks. Guess I should let Mommy know now to buy some stock in her cocoa butter lotion!

Somersaults and Tumbles

Saturday, July 19, 2008

I've been practicing somersaults in Mommy's tummy ... I bet Daddy would be proud since he used to be a gymnast! Mommy thinks she may have felt me tumbling, but she still thinks it's just herself feeling her own pulse in her tummy. I'll have to try a little harder next time ...perhaps when I perform my big finale! I hope the judges are watching!

Grow, Me!

Thursday, July 17, 2008

Mommy's been taking pictures of her tummy since she found out I've been hiding inside her! She finally decided a couple days ago to put the ones she's taken into a slideshow! So as I grow, you can watch Mommy's tummy get bigger and bigger!

Edit (07/18/08): Mommy's getting super annoyed with all the slideshow programs! I think it's all those hormones that her body's created because of me!!

My First Words ^.^
